Cookie policy

Effective date: September 15, 2026
Last updated: September 15, 2026

This cookie policy explains which cookies mapps.one ("mapps.one", "we") uses on the mapps.one website and dashboard, and on the public app pages we host. It supplements our privacy policy.

In short

  • We do not use advertising, cross-site tracking or social media cookies anywhere.
  • Our analytics do not use cookies.
  • The website and dashboard only use cookies needed to sign you in, keep forms secure and remember your language.
  • Public app pages set no cookies by default. A cookie is set only when the developer runs an A/B experiment on the page, or when you choose a language.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. First-party cookies are set by the site you are visiting. Third-party cookies are set by other services, such as a payment provider.

Cookies on the mapps.one website and dashboard

NamePurposeDuration
mappsone-sessionKeeps you signed in as you move between pages, and remembers short-lived information such as form errors.2 hours after your last activity
XSRF-TOKENProtects forms against cross-site request forgery.2 hours after your last activity
remember_web_…Keeps you signed in on this browser when you choose "Keep me signed in" or sign in with Google.Until you sign out, at most 400 days
mapps_localeRemembers the language you picked.1 year

These cookies are strictly necessary for the service you ask for, or set because you asked for them, so they do not need your consent. They are first-party cookies and their values are encrypted. [Confirm cookie names and lifetimes against the production configuration.]

Cookies on public app pages

Public app pages include smart links such as mapps.one/habitly, landing pages, legal pages and press kits, on mapps.one and on developers' custom domains. They set no cookies by default, and their analytics work without cookies.

NameWhen it is setPurposeDuration
mapps_variant_{experiment ID}Only while the developer runs an A/B experiment on that landing pageRemembers which version of the page you were shown, so it stays the same when you come back. It contains only a variant number and is not used on other sites.30 days
mapps_localeOnly when you choose a language through a language linkRemembers the language you picked.1 year

[Describe how consent is handled for the experiment cookie in jurisdictions where it is not considered strictly necessary.]

Third-party cookies

  • Payments. When you open checkout, Paddle, iyzico or PayTR may set cookies needed to process your payment and prevent fraud. Their own cookie policies apply.
  • Google sign-in. If you sign in with Google, Google sets cookies on its own domain.
  • App stores. Once a smart link sends you to the App Store, Google Play, AppGallery or Microsoft Store, that store's own policies apply.

Other technologies

We do not use local storage, session storage or similar technologies to track you. Your dashboard theme preference is saved on your account, not in your browser.

Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the website's strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in to the dashboard. If you block the experiment cookie, you may see a different version of a landing page on your next visit. Everything else keeps working.

Changes and contact

We will update this policy if the cookies we use change. If you have questions, contact us at support@mapps.one.
