Terms of service

Effective date: September 15, 2026
Last updated: September 15, 2026

These terms of service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and mapps.one ("mapps.one", "we", "us"). They apply when you use the mapps.one website, dashboard, public app pages, API and webhooks (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you use the Service for a company or another organisation, you confirm that you may accept these Terms on its behalf, and "you" includes that organisation.

1. The Service

mapps.one lets developers and teams publish one smart link per mobile app. The link sends each visitor to the right app store, and the Service also offers landing pages, generated privacy policies and terms, QR codes, analytics, deep links, press kits, A/B tests, custom domains, team workspaces, an API and webhooks. Features depend on your plan, as described on our pricing page.

mapps.one is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Apple, Google, Huawei, Microsoft or any other app store. Store names and badges belong to their owners.

2. Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, to create an account.
  • Give accurate information and keep it up to date. Keep your password and API tokens secret, and turn on two-factor authentication where possible.
  • You are responsible for everything that happens in your account and your workspaces, including actions by people you invite. Tell us straight away at support@mapps.one if you think your account has been accessed without permission.
  • Workspace owners control their workspace: they can invite and remove members, change roles, manage billing and delete the workspace.

3. Your content and your pages

You keep all rights to the content you add to the Service, such as app names, descriptions, icons, screenshots, links, press materials and legal document answers ("Your Content"). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process, adapt (for example resizing images) and display Your Content, only as needed to run, secure and improve the Service and to show your public pages. If your app is listed in Explore, you also allow us to show its name, icon and tagline there. This licence ends when you delete Your Content, except for copies in backups that are deleted on their normal schedule.

You confirm that you have the rights to Your Content and to the apps you link to, and that Your Content and your apps follow the law and the rules of the stores they are published in.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service, or let anyone use your pages, to:

  • distribute malware, spyware or anything that harms devices, data or networks;
  • run phishing, scams, fake giveaways or other deceptive schemes, or redirect visitors somewhere other than what the page suggests;
  • impersonate another person, company or app, or use a link, name or icon that could be confused with someone else's brand;
  • publish content that is illegal, sexually exploits minors, promotes violence or hatred, or infringes intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • send spam or promote your link through unsolicited bulk messages;
  • probe, overload or attack the Service, bypass plan limits, rate limits or security measures, or resell the Service without our written permission;
  • scrape the Service or other customers' pages in bulk, except through the documented API within its limits.

Anyone can report a page through the "Report this page" link. We review reports and may pause, suspend or remove pages, apps, links or accounts that break these Terms, sometimes automatically while a review is pending. Where it is safe and lawful, we tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

5. Generated legal documents

The privacy policy and terms generator creates documents from your answers and from templates. The documents are provided for convenience and are not legal advice. We do not know how your app handles data, so we cannot confirm that a generated document is complete or accurate for your app or for the laws that apply to you. You are responsible for the answers you give, for keeping documents up to date and for getting legal advice where needed.

6. Plans, payments and renewals

  • Free plan. The Free plan is free of charge and has the limits shown on our pricing page. We may change Free plan limits with reasonable notice.
  • Payments in US dollars. These are processed by Paddle.com, which acts as our reseller and merchant of record. Paddle's buyer terms apply to your purchase, and Paddle handles sales tax and VAT. Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
  • Payments in Turkish lira. These are processed by iyzico or PayTR. Prices include VAT. Monthly and yearly plans paid in lira are prepaid periods that do not renew automatically; we email you before a period ends so you can renew.
  • Lifetime plan. A one-time payment gives the workspace the features of the Pro plan for as long as mapps.one offers the Service. It is limited to the number of seats shown at purchase and cannot be transferred to another workspace.
  • Cancelling. You can cancel from the billing page at any time. You keep your paid features until the end of the period you have paid for. After that, the workspace moves to the Free plan: apps above the Free plan limit are paused, not deleted, and paid-only features stop working.
  • Refunds. You can get a full refund within 14 days of any payment. Our refund policy explains how to ask for one and what happens to your plan. Consumers in the European Union, the United Kingdom and Türkiye keep any withdrawal rights they have under the law.
  • Price changes. We may change prices for future periods. We tell you at least 30 days before a price change affects a renewal, and you can cancel before it applies.
  • Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, we try again for a short grace period. If it still fails, the workspace moves to the Free plan as described above.

7. API, webhooks and custom domains

  • API access and webhooks are subject to the rate limits and documentation published in our developer docs. We may change or retire API versions with reasonable notice.
  • You are responsible for the servers that receive your webhooks, including verifying signatures.
  • You may only connect domains you control. You are responsible for your DNS settings. We issue and renew TLS certificates for verified domains, and we stop serving a domain when its DNS no longer points to us.

8. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, templates and the mapps.one name and logo, belongs to us and our licensors. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while your account is in good standing. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without any obligation to you.

9. Privacy

Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data about you and about visitors of your pages. When we process visitor data on your behalf, our [Data Processing Addendum link] applies. You are responsible for telling your own users that you use mapps.one.

10. Availability and changes to the Service

We work to keep the Service fast and available, but it is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. We may add, change or remove features. If we remove a feature you pay for, or stop offering the Service, we give you reasonable notice and a pro-rated refund for any prepaid period you cannot use.

11. Ending the agreement

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your settings. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if you do not pay, or if the law requires it. When an account is deleted, its apps, pages and links stop working, and we delete the related data as described in our privacy policy. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as payment obligations, disclaimers and limitations of liability, survive the end of this agreement.

12. Disclaimers

To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that store listings, redirects, analytics or generated documents will always be accurate, complete or error free, or that app stores will accept your app. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for all claims about the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in those 12 months, or USD 100 if you use only the Free plan. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

14. Indemnity

If a third party makes a claim against us because of Your Content, your apps or your breach of these Terms, you will cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim, as long as we tell you about the claim promptly and let you control its defence.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by [Governing law]. Courts in [Competent courts] have exclusive jurisdiction, unless the law gives you, as a consumer, the right to bring a claim in the courts where you live. Before starting legal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we tell you by email or in the dashboard at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after the change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you can cancel and delete your account.

17. General

  • These Terms, together with the documents they refer to, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
  • If a court finds part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
  • If we do not enforce a right straight away, we do not give it up.
  • You may not transfer these Terms without our consent. We may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
  • If these Terms are translated, the English version applies in case of a conflict, unless the law requires otherwise.
