Studio
Teams and client folders
Workspaces keep apps, domains, team members and billing together. On the Studio plan you can invite teammates, group apps into client folders and put your own brand on public pages. This suits studios, agencies and freelancers who look after apps for several clients.
Workspaces
Everything in mapps.one belongs to a workspace, and each workspace has its own plan. When you sign up, a personal workspace is created for you. You can create more workspaces at any time and switch between them from the workspace switcher at the top of the sidebar. A new workspace starts on the Free plan.
Two common ways to organise client work:
- One Studio workspace for your agency, with a folder per client. One subscription covers every client.
- A workspace per client, each with its own plan and billing details, when clients pay for their own apps.

Each workspace has exactly one owner, who is the person that created it unless ownership is transferred. The owner cannot leave the workspace.
Invite teammates
- Open Team and choose Invite member.
- Enter the person's email address and choose a role: Admin or Member.
- They receive an email with an invitation link. They can sign in, or create an account, with that email address to join.
An invitation can only be accepted by an account with the same email address it was sent to. If someone uses a different address for mapps.one, invite that address instead. Invitation links expire after a while. If one expires, send a new invitation.
| Plan | People per workspace |
|---|---|
| Free, Pro and Lifetime | 1, the owner only |
| Studio | Up to 10, including the owner |
Pending invitations do not use a seat. A seat is taken when an invitation is accepted. If the workspace is full at that moment, the invitation cannot be accepted until a seat is free or the plan changes. You can send up to 30 invitations per hour.
Change roles and remove people
Owners and admins can change a member's role or remove them from the Team page. People lose access to the workspace immediately when they are removed. Anyone except the owner can leave a workspace themselves from the same page. Important team actions, such as accepted invitations, are recorded in the workspace's audit log.
Client folders
Folders group apps in the dashboard, typically one folder per client. Give each folder a name and a colour: indigo, teal, orange, pink or slate. Filter the app list by folder to focus on one client. Deleting a folder does not delete its apps: they simply move out of the folder. Folders are available on the Studio plan.
White label
On the Studio plan, add your brand name, website and logo (up to 1 MB) in the workspace settings. They are shown on the public pages of every app in the workspace, and the mapps.one badge is removed. Use a separate workspace when different clients need different branding.
